My Personal Web Design Project

Recently, I worked on a simple and personal web design project using Figma, a great tool for creating website layouts. The main goal of this project was to build a basic website that reflects my identity, education, and community.

My website has five main pages:

Home – This is the first page that welcomes visitors to the website.

About Me – Here I wrote a short bio about myself, including my interests and goals.

About JUS – This page talks about my university, Jaamacadda Soomaaliya (JUS), where I study Computer Science.

About Fagax – I also included a page about my neighborhood, Fagax, where I live. It shares some local background and why the area is important to me.

My Contact – Finally, I added a contact page with my email and social media for people to reach me easily.

After completing the design in Figma, I exported the project and deployed it on Netlify, a free and fast platform for hosting static websites. It was my first time using Netlify, and it made the process very smooth.

This project helped me practice my skills in:

Web design (Figma)

HTML and Tailwind CSS

Hosting and deployment (Netlify)

I’m proud of this small achievement and I’m looking forward to learning more and building bigger projects in the future.
